I was born in Castlecomer, Ireland and came to the USA when I was a teen. I travel back home once or twice a year. I was married once long ago. I was happily single twenty years. I own two cats and a dog and they get along famously.

I discovered Amber gaming in the mid 1980s and Dungeons and Dragons soon after that. Recently I've been introduced to Starfleet Battles and was given the nickname Andromeda for playing the villainous Andromedan Invaders. It' was shortened to Rommie thanks to the TV series.

I'm about as computer illiterate as they come and still be able to game online.

I got engaged to Ian on Easter Sunday (well, the Monday after) 2005. Later that year I moved in with him in Australia. I found a satellite picture of Sydney and you can see my car! We got married in late March the year after (that's 2006 for those of you who can't count). I hate to end on a parenthesis, so Ian and I travel a lot. In April 2009, we moved to New York, New York.
